Many companies don’t realize or understand the benefit of having a Public Relations Agency to promote their work and open doors for new business opportunities. Architecture and Design firm KKAD (Chester, NJ) had been spending the bulk of their time creating memorable hospitality interiors and very little time promoting completed work. When KKAD was hired to transform a dated New Orleans hotel called the Queen and Crescent, they turned to BeSpoken PR to see how they could take advantage of the robust climate in the Crescent City.

BeSpoken focused on two main areas of promotion: Social Media and Industry Publications. When the renovated hotel launched in 2015, guests were raving about the design on sites like TripAdvisor and Yelp. The newly branded Q&C Hotel moved into the top 10 in the market and later became part of Marriott’s Autograph collection.

BeSpoken PR saw the importance of these authentic reviews and issued a press release announcing the hotels’ newfound status along with reprints of the most favorable reviews. This pivotal endorsement gave BeSpoken PR the ammunition it needed to solicit the trade media that was so vital to building the firms’ reputation.

Editors and journalists began to take notice and soon articles from such prominent design trade magazines as Hospitality Design, Boutique Design,Hotel Business Magazine and Southern Living Magazine ran features about KKAD and their work at the Q+C Hotel.

The attention generated by the press and social media directly led to another large project in Kansas City at the historic Hotel Phillips. BeSpoken PR is now employing a similar strategy for KC and has already landed several major media spots.
